The story of this hotel takes place in the history of Pakse and the genesis of our family.
Sisouk Sisombat and his wife Siseng built the house in the 1950s and most of their 11 children were born there.
Sisouk Sisombat was President of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and member of parliament for Pakse, Champasak Province, from 1958 until 1973 and from 1992 to 1995.
Until 1995, the year he passed away, he worked passionately and with constant energy for the development of his country and Pakse, hometown.
During the last few years, the house in Paksé was a bit sad without his presence, and that’s why his children and wife decided to renovate the family house and turn it into a hotel.
They put their heart into this project and hope you’ll feel at home during your stay at Residence Sisouk.
